  I have been buying  Papusas  from here for many years ! They're service is great  and they make the best papusas in town , also they're prices are great , if you want real authentic papusas  you have to come here  they're food is awesome!

  Decided to order from this place in spite if it's bad reviews. Now I know why they have so many... I called to get some takeout and the woman answered the phone in Spanish, said I had to order in Spanish, said "sorry" in English and hung up. Seriously? I understand if you have many Spanish-speaking customers but you need to speak some English in order to have a thriving business in Los Angeles. After this "conversation ", I noticed that Yelp lists the health scores. If you look at theirs (which is strangely listed as consistently having an  "A" rating) you will find 6 violations! They may have been able to pay off someone to get the "A", but they couldn't hide the actual violations. (Gross)! Gotta love Yelp for listing each violation! This certainly makes sense after reading so many reviews regarding people getting sick from eating here.
  Anyway, what it all comes down for me is that although I live only a few blocks away from this place, I will never step foot inside this dirty little hole or recommend it to anyone else.

  I love the Pupusas from this place, I have been coming here for 15 years, I stoped for a while because of the shitty service and today I decided to give it a chance.  but... the service here is nothing but pure shit.  
  Denia has a horrible attitude, super mean, sarcastic, charging a additional $1 on any purchase under $15, complete bull shit.  Wouldn't separate my orders and if she did she said she would have to charge me an extra dollar on each order.  I don't even feel like eating after interacting with these ladies... they act as if you were getting the food for free.
  
  So, food is good but you have to come hoping they're in a good mood.

  The pupusas are great, but service is horrible . This lady kept rolling her eyes when I was ordering and was acting like she didn't want to be there. Not all of the workers are mean, but in particular today and not that long ago, a older lady on the spectrum with a pixieish cut black hair glasses & petit had the nastiest attitude towards us. Not sure if it's because we were on the millennial looking side, but it's disrespectful considering my friend and I were polite throughout the whole time. She seemed fine with people who look like my mother, more authentic & older in age.

  Tried calling to order some pupusas and i speak very bad spanish and they dont speak english. I tried to order in my broken Spanish but i was making sense. Said yo quero dos pupusas con queso. What do i get in response? Her saying in spanish no you dont speak Spanish and then she hung up on me. My friend called he speaks better spanish i was on the line as well and she literally said in spanish no pupusas for you and hung up. I hate when you call a business and the person answering cant speak english at all. I hate it even more when im discriminated against because im speaking english. I would tell people not to eat here just for their treatment of their non spanish speaking customers
